This is a great case but the seller is not being completely honest here. The retail price for this item is actually 19.99 not 39.99 as claimed (at the time of this review). I assume that because this case is out of stock most places, myGearStore increased the price due to high demand. That’s okay but just don’t be fooled into thinking that there is any kind of savings here.

This is not a authentic Incipio Feather case that is thin hard shell. I got my order and it was a soft rubber case. I just don’t want go thru the trouble of returning for a $10 item. But if you are looking for the slim hard shell case that is made by Incipio, this is not it. The pictures here do not match what I got. So don’t be deceived by the pictures. Lessons learned.

I decided to buy this after I read all the other reviews, but when I got it, I realized that the case doesn’t even come around the front of the iphone at all, which I don’t understand, because isn’t the point of the case for the most part to protect the glass? This is pretty much just a thin plastic shell around the back of the iPhone, which I guess is my fault for not knowing when I bought it. I just don’t see how this can provide much protection at all. Looks great though.

Sturdy and super thin. The thinnest case anyone out there makes! I haven’t found a better one yet, and I’m one of those super picky consumers that compares everything.
The cherry on top is the texture. This is not cheap made in china for the 99 cents store plastic. This is that rubberized smooth “I want to touch it again” plastic that doesn’t scratch easily.
Great product. Buy it, buy it, buy it. You won’t regret it.

I learned of this case through a friend of mine who has one. As soon as it arrived, my girlfriend liked it so much she immediately ordered one for her iPod touch. My aunt saw it over the Thanksgiving holiday and liked it so much that she immediately ordered one for her iPhone too.
Incipio: Give me a commission check!
As if the sentences above didn’t clue you in, this is an excellent case. It has a wonderful feel to it; it feels silky smooth, yet gives you great grip on the phone.
It is trim, slim and form-fitting and fits the phone perfectly.
This is NOT a case for someone who abuses their phone and needs protection against major drops, crushing, etc. but it will keep the back of the phone from getting scratched, keep it from slipping out of your hands, etc.
As for the people who complained about the case breaking, I don’t know what they are doing as it seems pretty darn sturdy to me.
My only gripe is that the entire part of the chrome bezel at the bottom of the iPhone, under the home button, is left completely exposed. I’d imagine this is because if there was a long, thin piece of plastic to guard that section, it would snap off easily.
I like this case a lot and highly recommend it. It even comes with two clear screen protectors for the front of the phone. I haven’t tried them out, but they seem nice.
Oh well, you can’t have it all, but you can come close with this case.
It sold itself to my girlfriend and aunt!
