Nice charger. The male plug is very small and inconspicuous. The white light is also very small. It’s nice that it’s built as a USB jack so you can remove the cord and leave the base in the socket when you don’t want the cord lying around.

I bought the charger and it is really nice but the cable is way to short and I dont even have far to go, so for alot of cars there is no way you can talk on the phone while it is plugged in.

Unfortunately, my charger did not work. The light doesn’t even turn on, and it fails at charging my Pre. So sad…

At 30 inches, the USB cable is a little short for use in my truck but it is a perfect length on my desk with my laptop. I bought the inexpensive Palm Pre Original Smart Phone AC USB Wall Adapter + Original Palm PRE Charging USB 2.0 Data Cable and use that 60in cable with the cigarette adapter piece to charge the Pre in my truck, maybe even with a Touchstone on the dashboard for handsfree use. I do use the spare wall charger with the 30in cable when I’m traveling.

I’ve been using this car charger with my Palm Pixi and I love it. I’m lucky to get a day out of my Pixi battery and I like being able to charge it while I’m in the car. The only down side to the charger so far is the cord. It’s not long enough to talk on the phone while it’s plugged in unless you’re using the speaker or a blue tooth.
