Accessories at Amazon.com can almost always be a great deal. This inexpensive car charger was only “Two dollars and ninety-nine cents”. Its basic plastic, but the charger fits almost all car chargers (if you have a charger and a cigarette lighter, always use the charger). The little red light tells you its working. It’s also nice to know there is protection of your `not so inexpensive’ iPod or iPhone. The built-in charging circuitry protects against back-flow current or electrical surges. The ‘squeeze clasps’ are easily felt and secure your connection. Check for other inexpensive accessories, but always read about the quality. Cheap doesn’t mean it will last a long time or protect your device.
