What is your favorite kitchen gadget?

Something that you’ve had for over 6 months, since the new stuff is always the favorite.

Mine has to be my lemon juicer that I bought in Mexico. It looks like a mini water pump.
MY definition of a gadget is whatever is not food!

Parents: What kitchen gadget do you use for multi-uses to make meal preparations easier?

My pizza cutter doubles as slicer for fruits and veggies and peanut butter sandwiches. It cuts down on my having to fight with a dull butter knife for slicing.

They told us to write down a recipe and bring a related kitchen gadget. None of the recipes I use really require kitchen gadgets really. Any ideas?
